INSIDE THE ARCHIVE CLOSET LONDON

/riːl/cycled & style-centered vintage

The Archive Closet London was born with a goal to create a clothing line for a better tomorrow. The planet does not need another "new" brand, therefore The Archive Closet works exclusively with premium vintage garments to create modern must-haves from something long forgotten. As graduates of Istituto Marangoni London, the founders worked restlessly to make sustainability and circular business model the core of The Archive Closet from day one while also delivering style to shoppers worldwide.

OUR VISION
DSC03548.JPG

Seasonless, sizeless and gender-fluid upcycled vintage clothes that are made from something long-forgotten to modern must-have pieces.

At the core of The Archive Closet is creating a transparent circular system of one of a kind pieces MADE TO LAST.

We are against the throwaway culture. All pieces available at The Archive Closet are 100% upcycled from all the materials to belts, buckles, and buttons. The need to use 100% of all cutaway material gives the unique and funky shapes and elements that The Archive Closet designs have.

It is exciting to know that your new and unique blazer or dress lived a previous life. The Archive Closet extends the life of those neglected pieces reshaping them into something fresh, modern yet timeless.

All our pieces are entirely upcycled and ethically sourced from vintage stores and materials across Europe.

Because each piece is one-of-a-kind we give the opportunity to young uprising designers to retired seamstresses to create that unique piece. That is why we wanted to give your new upcycled piece a more personal touch for you to feel and see the unique approach of the designer who made your item. The tag of each item displays the hand-written initials of the tailor who made your clothes. When buying from the high street you never know who made your garments.
