Good to know: Some blazers may contain haircloth in the chest area to create the classic tailored fit of men's blazers.

Haircloth is a stiff, sturdy fabric typically made from horsehair and/or camel wool. In traditional suit tailoring, haircloth is used to strengthen the front panels in men's suit jackets, and Savile Row tailors continue to make bespoke suits using this material. In modern suits, haircloth is often replaced with synthetic fabrics. 

All our garments are upcycled from different vintage garments, which makes them inapplicable to standard sizing. At the Archive Closet, we also approach clothing as genderless, seasonless and one size fits all, allowing the unique piece to fit the unique person.

• Green dry cleaning is recommended, to ensure you can wear and cherish the garment for years to come

• Do not wash vintage fabrics in a machine or put them in the dryer

• Gentle hand washing is best for vintage fabrics

• Avoid harsh chemicals, detergents, and bleach when laundering vintage textiles

Our /riːl/cycled premium vintage quality garments might have some minor signs of pre-loved wear. Due to the nature of vintage materials, there might be slight discolourations, marks or thread pulls, which are naturally associated with vintage.
